Hi people!
Thought I'd share some more bits of info on my first 2 songs I uploaded:
Evocation Madness Extravaganza
- 18 tracks
- 10 generators (instruments)
- 34 effectors
- 106 patterns
- 24 samples
experimented with:
- samples as a cardinal part of music (turned out fine)
- long patterns (tedious to implement, but can be very rewarding)
- gradual effects balancing instantaneuos changes (yeah, the purpose of music? lol)
- alternative bass (and discovered I love bass sounds :D)
- etc. that I don't remember
Ballad of the baker
- 25 tracks
- 11 generators
- 35 effectors
- 82 patterns
- "no" samples (more like only built-in ones)
experimented with:
- drive all drum-like instruments through 1 mixer and control everything from there (impractical, so that's an F grade on that)
- stereo sound from mono generators (this worked well for me)
- massive equalization (bit too much actually)
- instantaneuos change of BPM and effects (depends, I guess)
I like to hear what you think, be it positive or negative.
Peace out to Y'all!
