Sure sounds creepy

I give it to you, the mood and the pace is perfect. The melody side is strong, but drums could use a bit of more variety both in pattern and in sounding.

I also wondered, whether it's intentional, that the intro sound's panning seems to weigh more on the left? Did you "double wire" that instrument, so that a track plays continuously, and another pans, or is it 1 track with more subtle change?

Nice bass sounds throughout the whole song, and neither instrument seems to eat up the others.

I gave it 7 because of the drums, length and low "replayable" value - on the 3rd listen, it's beginning to get a bit repetitive and predictable, but is fit for a spooky-themed game. Overally, nice work.

There are parts of this that would make a good loop, on 2nd listen...

solid review :)

Comment in progress

I decided to write this as the song progresses. :)

Very nice, subtle beginning, gets you in the mood. The introduction of new instruments is cool. Keeps you interested... whoa, that speech sample is perfect! Interesting little background tweaks, and then they come forward surprisingly, as from the back of your mind. Then it continues to lift your mood, reminds me of sunny saturdays, when everything is possible. :) The last part is fine too, although the ending's a bit out of blue, I'd have anticipated it differently.

The focus and effort put in it shows through maximally. Well mastered and pleasant to listen to. Fits the theme perfectly. Nice work, buddy!
For some cons, the hithats are a bit loud for some places, bit more monotonous than the other instruments. Drums are collectively a bit "worn out" in the genre, but the melody part manages to keep the attention away from that, so...

Overally, favorited, DLd, and I'd vote 4,5 if I could - I guess I'll come back later and do just that.

Peace :)

depends on the POV

If you'd like something to listen to, this is not that "song".
Weak drumming variety, can't detect effects that would indicate, that they weren't built-ins. This could also be titled "The untweaked 3 instrument 5 pattern loop"... (no offense intended)

BUT, if you're looking for several catchy tunes for a game, this can be one of them, as it loops perfectly. Or a sample in another song.

cozy

Very good sounding drums there! Also the additional fx sounds fit nicely. Could've given a bit more space to reverberation or delay for more floatiness. Not exactly my genre, but perfect for waking up to on a sunday morning. :) A strong 4 from me.

and very much appreciated :-) this (or _drop_, I forget) was the very first song i composed in FL 8, so i didn't really get around to playing with the VSTs. i also didn't save the .flp for either lol, so editing it could get a little tricky. i'm glad you enjoyed it though!

Dude, I'm so rocking to this!

Now this is something I'd like to hear at a huge party! Perfect for outdoor summer camping experiences... or in a hangar... or on the bus... anywhere really :) Very positive music. Instant fav.

The lead is killer, albeit a tidbit overbearing at places. The ambient is refreshing, and for the record, the kick has perfect volume and what's more, is "fat" enough (IMO). True, there could be a bit more lower frequencies to some other instruments. But mastering IS a challange.

I'm sooo going to check out your other works as well. Thumbs up! 5/5

yay!

It's awesome in a Nirvana kind of way. It makes a mood, and that's enough. I loved the harmonica! And the guitar tracks are perfectly together. Goes to favorits.
